How Do I Get Selected?
You will have a greater chance of being selected if you can tick off the boxes below.
• Do you make/ design your own products?
• Do your products have a similar aesthetic/ style to other things we carry in the shop? (Pop in and see what we have in person or if you aren’t local, have a look on our instagram and website to see what we already sell and our general vibes)
• Do we already stock something very similar? (If we already have the products you’re offering, have a think before applying as ask yourself why we could do with also stocking you, what do you bring that is different enough/ complimentary? If you feel you have a strong case, let us know on your application).
• Are your products ready to sell? (Do they look finished and are of good quality? Do you have a minimum of 6 of each item?)
• Do your products have packaging suitable for a retail business? (Art prints must have a hard backing card and a protective bio/ recyclable cello bag. If your products need to be hanging up, do they have appropriate puncture holes etc? Do they have your logo/ branding on it and space for a price label so we can easily put it through the till? If not, can you provide a professional, good quality sign to display your name and pricing next to the product? If we require a sample for our customers, can you afford to provide one with a tester/sample label?)
• Are you ready to invest in selling your products? (You might have to invest in business cards, packaging and rental fees to take part in the shop)
