This print utilizes Chine-collé (pronounced sheen-col-lay)—a printmaking method where shapes are hand-cut from thin paper and pressed onto a thicker background. The bold lines are then printed right over the top using a heavy printing press. The artwork highlights a bold, central brown bottle or jar silhouette surrounded by eclectic kitchen items, including a small potted green plant, a slender spoon resting alongside a tea bag, a blue-green teacup, and a small glass on a decorative green stem, all anchored by a warm orange horizontal band against a crisp white background.
